On top of that, we have calls with every single potential client to even determine whether or not we can help. It is not in our interest to take on partners we can't even serve, it's not sustainable.

The longer answer is... a website is nice for wrapping your firm in a pretty bow, but it is not the way to generate new opportunities, consistently. Most firm owners get mistaken that they have to have a completely new and polished website before they start generating leads...
This is simply not the case.
The truth is, your clients do not care what your website looks like. They just care about your design / build values and processes, and, whether or not you are the right company to do it with. Your website is just the sprinkle on top.
